Job Summary
As a Bartender, you ensure consistent drink quality by preparing orders in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines established by the Food and Beverage department. You are responsible for providing direct and indirect service throughout a guests dining experience. You will also maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast paced environment, while providing superior guest service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a timely and professional manner
- Verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations
- Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner at the bar and lounge area
- Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques
- Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
- Establish professional, hospitable rapport with each guest you serve
- Perform opening, running and closing side work assignments
- Always perform as a team member
- Attend and participate in on-going training sessions, read shift notes and attend shift meetings
- Adhere to company policies and standards

Requirements : Qualifications
High School diploma or GEDMust be authorized to work in the USA and proper documentationMust be at least 21 years of ageObtain any necessary licensing or permitsMinimum of 1 year of experience operating a full service barStrong knowledge of alcohol mixology, drink menus and classic cocktail preparationAbility to stand on feet for an extended period of timeAbility to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work in a fast pace environmentExcellent customer service skills with strong ability to interact with guestsVerbal communication skills, and accurate math and cash handling skills
