Medical Billing Specialist
We are looking for a skilled Medical Billing Specialist with expertise in medical billing to join our client's team. In this role, you will play a critical part in assisting patients with resolving insurance billing issues and claim denials. Responsibilities :
- Facilitate communication between patients and insurance companies to address coordination of benefits claim denials.
- Conduct inbound and outbound calls to resolve insurance-related billing issues effectively.
- Investigate and follow up on denied claims to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service by guiding patients through insurance processes and addressing their concerns.
- Collaborate with insurance teams to ensure accurate and complete documentation of claims.
- Analyze and identify trends in claim denials to recommend improvements to the process.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions and resolutions in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in training initiatives to enhance team knowledge on insurance billing and benefits coordination.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and performance targets.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance follow-up or handling claim denials.Proven customer service skills with a focus on patient communication.Familiarity with insurance billing processes and benefits coordination.Proficiency in managing inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to analyze claim issues and recommend actionable solutions.Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and insurance teams effectively.
