Certifications : BLS

ACLS

Must-Have :

Experience with ERCP, upper / lower endoscopic procedures, EUS, and Spyglass.

Procedure room experience with 3-5 years in endoscopic procedures / equipment.

EPIC experience required.

Ability to primarily circulate but also scrub basic tech cases.

Moderate sedation experience.

2-4 years of recovery experience from moderate sedation.

Telemetry experience is a plus.

Pre and post-operative experience required.

Description :

The RN will work in a fast-paced environment focused on endoscopic procedures.

The position will involve circulating in the procedure room and scrubbing for basic technical cases.

Candidates should possess experience with various endoscopic techniques and equipment.

The RN will be required to administer moderate sedation and recover patients.

Candidates must be comfortable with telemetry and have pre and post-operative experience.

Daily tasks will align with ASPN patient ratio guidelines.

The unit offers support through charge nurses and resource nurses.

Phlebotomy services are available, and the unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring.

The charting system used is EPIC.

Weekend rotations will be required with every other Saturday scheduled.

There are holiday expectations including specific requirements for summer and winter holidays.

Call duties will vary based on unit needs, requiring a 30-minute response time.

No call is expected for the sterile processing department, with a standard Monday through Friday schedule.

Personal grooming standards include natural nail tips less than one inch long, and artificial nails are not permitted in direct patient care.
