Hoplite Solutions is seeking a VDI Automation Engineer to assist with the development, deployment, and O&M of a dynamic desktop solution that is hardware-agnostic, rapidly deployable, and integrates with our current infrastructure.
The right candidate must have documented technical acumen and hands-on experience with the development and deployment of virtualized desktop deployments and support.
The candidate will work on a team of governments staffers and other contractors to build and maintain our next generation desktop environment.
Responsibilities :
- Solve cyber problems, identify and develop methodologies to advance cyber operations
- Provide technical development and analysis
- Network analysis to understand target networks and developing network maps
- Profiling network security posture and technical overwatch
- Conduct network analysis and reconnaissance
- Document analysis and code in accordance with industry and client’s best practices
- Leverage applications and scripting capabilities
- Conduct briefings across the client’s organization Mandatory Requirements :
- Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS / SCI) clearance, with polygraph
- 5+ years Virtualization experience (on-premise and cloud) infrastructure design and administration
- VMWare, VSphere / ESXi, Linux KVM / Proxmox, commercial cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Security hardening and patching / updates
- 5+ years Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDDI) architecture, design, implementation, and scaling experience
- VMWare / Omnissa Horizon or similar VDI solution
- Version control, testing, documentation, and validation
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience working with Kubernetes, containerized environments or similar environments
- Hands on experience writing scripts for automation (e.g., bash, python, PowerShell, etc.)
