Job descriptionProvide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures Assist physicians with endoscopy procedures and ensure proper equipment handling Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond to changes in condition Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up care Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state Minimum 2+ years of recent endoscopy or GI nursing experience preferred BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Strong communication and patient advocacy skills Ability to work day shifts and adapt to a procedural environment Meditech experience preferred
