Job Details :

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 6 : 30 PM
• Patient ratios of 1 : 4-5 for both day and night shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• Minimum of 2 holidays required during contract timeframe
• Must pass open book exam during orientation with 90% score to continue
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must be competent with arterial lines
• Required to titrate drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
• Must read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Floating requirements to Med / Surg or ICU for PCU acuity patients
• One day of unit-specific orientation provided
• Care for adult patients with cardiac med / surg, dialysis, cancer, vascular, sepsis, respiratory, stroke, post-stent, post-pacer placement, and renal failure diagnoses
• Work with equipment including overhead lifts, portable lifts, vein finders, bladder scanners, and high flow oxygen
• EPIC charting system used
• Must live outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
• Valid driver's license required at submittal
• Artificial nails prohibited - removal required or contract termination
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
