Job descriptionWork in a 33-bed cardiac telemetry unit Night shift schedule from 19 : 00 to 07 : 30 Patient ratios of 1 : 5 to 1 : 6 Floating is required as part of the assignment Every other weekend and holiday shifts are required Must be comfortable acting in the charge nurse role Candidates must wear solid black scrubs as part of the dress code No more than 7 days of requested time off are permitted, and none within the first two weeks of assignment Local candidates within 40 miles will receive a local rate Holiday and weekend coverage is required Block scheduling is not permitted Interview required as part of the selection process Active RN license Minimum of 2 years recent TELE RN experience including charge responsibilities BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or AHA RQI only) required NIHSS Stroke Scale certification required (to be completed through Apex, Health Stream, or AHA) Documented recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required Degree from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited nursing program required Ability to draw blood and start / maintain IVs High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
