Overview
Site Services Coordinator, 2nd shift — Colorcon. Colorcon is a world leader in the development, supply and technical support of formulated film coating systems, modified release technologies, specialty excipients and functional packaging for the pharmaceutical, nutritional, and animal health industries. The company provides extensive formulation experience, application data and value-added services to support solid oral dose design, development and manufacture. The role sits in the West Point site and also provides assistance to the Harleysville and Chalfont No-Tox sites as needed. The position will work under the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department and closely with the Maintenance / Facilities department to develop and implement security measures and practices to ensure a secure and compliant campus. This position will serve as back up for the Site Services Supervisor and cover time off for the Pretreatment Plant (PTP).
Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintain the security program to ensure a safe campus per local, state, and federal law and in compliance with regulations from the FDA, DEP, DEA, OSHA, and other governing bodies.
- Manage the entrance, exit, and training of all contractors entering the West Point Site.
- Provide access badges for all employees, visitors, and contractors at West Point and the Harleysville and No-Tox sites.
- Maintain and operate the building fire, security, and camera systems and act as a main contact for all alarms.
- Support EHS in assigned tasks, inspections, and projects.
- Conduct bi-monthly stormwater / grounds inspections.
- Conduct weekly RCRA Storage Inspections for both 415 and 420 buildings.
- Conduct monthly e-light, fire extinguisher, and safety shower inspections and perform weekly eyewash tests.
- Generate and complete assigned reports and inspections.
- Meet daily with West Point departments to address EHS and security concerns.
- Perform daily site walks, inspections and security checks for the 415 and 420 buildings.
- Support the site during incidents and provide spills response, first aid and EHS supplies.
- Support / lead training sessions including industrial truck orientation to employees and contractor training as required.
- Serve as back up for the Site Services Supervisor and the PTP group when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required. Trade, technical or engineering degree preferred.Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing, EHS or security.Proven leadership and communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.Ability to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis.Location
