Hi-Tek Manufacturing is searching for an experienced Wire EDM Operator / Programmer who wishes to continue to develop his or her career in advanced manufacturing technology by executing a higher level of workmanship. • 2nd shift 3 : 30pm – 12 : 00am Mon-Fri
• OT may be required as needed

Hi-Tek is a Drug-Free Workplace and conducts pre-employment 10-panel drug and background screening and random 10-panel drug screening.

Essential Duties and Tasks :

Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this role will operate all Wire EDM / WEDM machines in the shop, operates CAD and CAM software, and create 2 & 4 axis programs using appropriate software. Fixtures work piece as necessary to facilitate machining. Maintains a necessary inventory of perishables, such as guides wire, filters, etc. This role will also load / unload parts, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools, accept or reject parts, and communicate any changes, both verbally and in writing.

Compensation details : 25-35 Hourly Wage
