Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Psychiatric Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 04 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel CHI St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center Bismarck, North Dakota, 58501 RN- Psych Shift & Schedule Shift : 12-hour Days Schedule : Every Other Weekend (EOW); First to Float Scheduling Method : Self-scheduling based on seniority (Union hospital; manager balances schedule; block scheduling accommodated when possible) Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : Every other holiday Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Unit Information Department : Psychiatric RN Unit Beds : 25 licensed beds (currently 3 Adult 6 Adolescent beds in use) Experience & Requirements Required Certifications : BLS (American Heart Association) CHI Health Workplace Violence Prevention Preferred Certification : CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) Required Experience : Acute / inpatient or state hospital psychiatric experience Strong de-escalation and communication skills Preferred Experience : Adolescent psychiatric care Traveler Experience : Open to first-time travelers License to Submit : Yes (active RN license required) RTO Policy : Up to 7 days per 13-week contract allowed upfront only No additional RTO accepted post-submission Must have at least 1yr of recent experience in behavioral health setting.
