Overview

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is growing, and seeking to expand the services we are offering in our Sacramento, CA office. As a Professional Geologist - Project Manager, you'll work with existing projects as well as being expected to develop additional projects focused on providing remedial investigation and corrective action implementation to private and public sector clients in a wide range of markets including manufacturing, industrial, waste management, mining, and power. You will be responsible for managing and expanding services to our current clients and developing new business, as well as managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and providing senior direction on a variety of projects.

The pay range for this position is between $65,000-143,000+ based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).

Qualifications

B.S. in Geology, Environmental Science or Civil / Environmental Engineering (MS a plus)

• 8+ years applicable experience in environmental site investigation and remediation
• Licensed Professional Geologist in one or more jurisdictions
• Ability to communicate professionally with strong technical writing and presentation skills
• Demonstrated experience budgeting, managing and implementing cost controls on multiple projects concurrently
• Strong leadership, team building, and interpersonal skills
• Successful track record of direct client management and business development responsibilities
• Experience with the successful development and completion of remedial investigations and corrective actions at RCRA, State regulated voluntary action programs and Brownfield sites
