Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Rock Island, IL 61201 Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Unit : Surgical / Ortho 6S (Med / Surg Telemetry) Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Electronic Medical Record : EPIC EMR Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1950-$2090 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or Iowa BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Med / Surg, Post-Op, or Stepdown nursing jobs Experience managing 5-7 patients per shift in a clinical setting Surgical and post-operative patient care experience preferred Ability to float within the same discipline across local healthcare campuses Must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility (local travelers not accepted) Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med / Surg Telemetry unit Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications, perform nursing assessments, and document care accurately in EPIC EMR Provide post-operative care and support to surgical patients Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and families Participate in unit-based initiatives and healthcare quality improvement activities Apply now to join our healthcare team and advance your nursing career with this exciting travel RN job in Rock Island, Illinois!
