What You’ll Do
- Lead the daily workflow and activities of QA Technicians, ensuring compliance with SOPs, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Serve as the primary QA contact on the production floor, providing direction, support, and training to team members.
- Act as the first point of escalation for complex quality issues, resolving them efficiently or elevating to QA management when needed.
- Know how to perform every QA Technician function and provide backup support as necessary.
- Support batch record review processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with all SOPs.
- Ensure finished goods and component inspections meet company and customer quality requirements.
- Review and approve artwork and labeling for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Lead or assist with non-conformance investigations, corrective / preventive actions, and internal audits.
- Provide support during external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen product quality and process control.
What You Bring
Associate’s or Technical Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.4–5 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or regulated industry.Strong understanding of GMP / GDP principles and FDA compliance requirements.Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer systems.Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative team mindset.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production needs.Experience using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and placement gauges.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed in a manufacturing environment.Why Federal Package?
