Under general direction of the Campus Director of Employee Relations(ELR), provide assistance on matters that are confidential, sensitive and complex and which require a high level of analytical skill, attention to detail, independent judgment, initiative, and a high degree of professionalism. Act as the primary coordinator for the Abusive Conduct in the Workplace Policy process which includes oversight of case intake, initial review, assignment, tracking, communication, investigation finalization, drafting and maintaining standard operating procedures and reporting. Independently responsible for management of the Campus & Health System Unemployment Insurance Program, including all aspects of claim administration, problem assessment and investigation. Provide analytical support to Employee Relations Director on important campus issues and coordinate the organization and implementation of broad ELR strategies across the campuses. Analyze and produce a variety of statistical reports related to employee and labor relations cases. Provide confidential professional support for complex and sensitive personnel matters and settlements as well as collective bargaining processes and advisory committees Responsible for special projects as assigned related to Employee Relations campus matters. Assist with management of ELR's internal and external communications on policy matters requiring action / execution / resolution. Provide technical assistance, special projects support, and administrative support to the unit. Independently performs data extraction, research and analysis of information relating to union requests, department metrics, diversity, bargaining, corrective action and layoff status.
