Quantity Surveyors - All experience levels - PQS - Dubllin

Office/Project Location: Dublin City, Dublin

Work Location: Office Based with sites visits

Pay: €55K-80K

Experience: 2+years

Visa: EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Our Client is an Irish owned construction consultancy practice providing a full spectrum of services from cost management to sustainability advice across all industry sectors

These roles involve all aspects of surveying including:

Pre-contract cost control and advise to Design Teams and Clients

Pre-contract document preparation

All post contract functions including; interim recommendations, cost reporting, Client meetings, final account reconciliations on a diverse range of projects

Responsibility for training and development of assistant and junior Quantity Surveyors as part of team structure

The key duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Estimating & Cost Planning – reporting directly to Clients

Preparing Bills of Quantities

Compiling Contract Documentation

Preparing Cost Reports

Preparing Monthly Valuations

Preparation and Agreement of Final Accounts

Review and Resolve Contractual Claims

Attend Meetings with Clients and Design Team Members

Training and development

Requirements

BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying with preferably 2+ years Quantity Surveying experience with PQS consultancies

Successful candidates must be commercially aware, flexible and have ambition to progress within the organisation.

Seeking highly motivated and ambitious individuals who demonstrate strong organisational/managerial skills and a pro-active attitude.

Good reporting and communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment and computer literacy are essential.

Drive and determination to manage strict budgets to ensure the commercial success of projects is essential.

Package

Salary €50K-€85k - depending on level of experience and qualifications.
