Triage Counselor, Emergency Psych Triage - Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital, Spokane WA

The Emergency Psychiatric Counselor functions under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide psychiatric triage for selected patients. S / he is expected to demonstrate an advanced understanding of contemporary psychosocial principles in relation to his / her area of responsibility. Following orientation and defined training programs, satisfactorily performs skills as defined by departmental policy and orientation procedure. Implements selected patient care activities in collaboration with other team members.

Shift Details :

• Part time, 24 hours per week, 8-hour evening shift

Required Qualifications :

Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker License upon hire or,

Washington Clinical Independent Social Worker Associate License upon hire or,

Washington Advanced Social Worker License upon hire or,

Washington Advanced Social Worker Associate License upon hire or,

Washington Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire or,

Washington Mental Health Counselor License upon hire or,

Washington Behavioral Analyst License upon hire or,

Washington Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration upon hire or,

Washington Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor Certification upon hire or,

Washington Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor License upon hire.

1 year - Psychiatric experience.
