The ideal candidate will have a proven background in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial and industrial environments, while working collaboratively with project managers, foremen, and other skilled trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures on commercial, industrial, and municipal projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Install water supply, drainage, venting, and gas systems in compliance with building codes.
- Inspect plumbing systems for leaks and performance issues, making repairs or replacements as needed.
- Conduct pressure tests and ensure all work meets local, state, and federal codes.
- Work closely with site supervisors, general contractors, and inspectors.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
Experience : 3–5 years of plumbing experience, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.Education : High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship preferred.Licensing : Georgia Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred (or the ability to obtain).Skills :Solid understanding of plumbing codes and construction blueprintsStrong problem-solving and teamwork skillsProficiency with plumbing tools and equipmentMust pass a background check and drug screening.Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.Benefits
