Schedule 12-Hour Night Shift - End of assignments on Saturday. Orientations every other week on Mondays and require working 2 / 3 weekends per month based on unit need. Job Description The Med Surg Oncology RN will be responsible for providing care to patients in a medical-surgical oncology unit. The position requires strong clinical skills, particularly in managing oncology patients, and involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assess and monitor patient conditions in the oncology unit. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Document patient care and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record. Participate in patient care team meetings and contribute to care planning. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty. BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Travel experience is required.
