Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions.

Designed to promote recuperation outside the traditional hospital setting, Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital incorporates many unique features, including brain injury unit with monitored rooms, specialized beds, patient lifts, and dedicated therapy space and dining area.

Dedicated stroke care unit with specialized equipment.

Gymnasiums featuring high-tech therapy devices and treatments.

Special apartment where patients and families can practice daily living tasks.

Private, family-friendly rooms with sleeper chairs.

Pet therapy and other recreational programs.

Outdoor healing garden and walking trail to assist in rehabilitation.

The team of dedicated doctors and nurses provide exceptional patient care with an emphasis on improving individual functional ability and quality of life.

Comprehensive treatment approach includes addressing physical, emotional and psychological components of each patient.

Evaluation focuses on movement patterns, strength, flexibility, functional ability, balance and tone.

Therapists work closely with physicians, specialists and family members to treat patients as they progress toward their goals.

Job Requirements

RN licensed in State of MO.

BLS (CPR) Certification required.

2 years of experience required.

Preferred skillset includes CRRN.

Required education : RN Certification.

Schedule Information

Shift : 6 : 30PM – 7AM.

Every other weekend requirement.

Float requirements within units in hospital (5 Units : Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury).

Units include Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury.

Patient population : adults age 18+ years.

Float requirements within units in hospital.

Common diagnosis / treatment includes stroke and brain injury rehabilitation.

Scrub Color : black scrubs (must wear ID badge provided by agency).

Time to Report : 6 : 30.

Parking : Garage (upper level or back two rows of lower level).
