MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department and evaluating systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Hires and trains maintenance department staff.
Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Handles discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Champions the development and continued growth of maintenance staff in alignment with their individual interests and passions.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
Develops maintenance procedures and schedules.
Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
Ensures failures are understood, and organizes improvements or corrective actions.
Utilizes the maintenance management system (SAP) to monitor health of maintenance backlog, order history, and preventative maintenance due dates
Coordinates on-prem computer equipment account setup, configuration, and distribution
Oversees on-prem help desk support as required
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems.
Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Proficient with Google Workspace software or similar software.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least 10 years maintenance experience Preferred to have at least 2 years in a leadership role.
OR Undergraduate degree in engineering or similar field with at least 2 years leadership experience.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance.
Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed.
Must be able to sit / stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
Compensation details : 85000-105000 Yearly Salary
