Title : Building Engineer – Facilities Maintenance

Location : Indianapolis, IN

Shift : Onsite (M–F, 7am–4pm)

Duration : 3 months contract with potential to Convert to Perm

About the Role :

The Building Engineer will oversee and maintain building systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and life safety systems. This role ensures reliable facility operations, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems
• Implement and optimize preventive maintenance programs
• Conduct inspections of fire alarms, control systems, and HVAC equipment
• Ensure compliance with building codes, OSHA, and safety procedures
• Support energy management initiatives to maintain efficient operations
• Lead and mentor junior team members as needed
