Cost Accountant

Description

We are looking for a skilled Cost Accountant to join our team in Ontario, California. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to the accounting department, providing insights and support for cost-related financial analysis and reporting. Responsibilities :

• Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting related to standard, job, and direct costs.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of all required financial documents.
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to support manufacturing operations.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to assist decision-making processes.
• Monitor and analyze variances in manufacturing costs, offering actionable insights.
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and relevant regulations.
• Assist in preparing special reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in cost accounting processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
