Foundation Health Partners is actively recruiting an ambitious Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient Family Medicine Team.

The Opportunity :

We are a 14-provider family medicine clinic, proud members of a long-established health system that has served the Fairbanks community for over 60 years. Our expertise covers the entire lifespan, from newborn care to geriatric issues. As part of a rural health system, our healthcare professionals have the chance to take on a more hands-on role in managing patient care, providing a unique opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set and gain valuable experience across a broad spectrum of healthcare scenarios. Due to the nature of our setting, experience managing chronic conditions is required to help meet the current needs of the clinic.

• Compensation : Starting at a base of $147,112 , compensation can be further adjusted based on experience. Additional opportunity to increase earnings through productivity. $40k sign-on bonus.
• Schedule : M-F 40 hours per week. 7 weeks ATO and 2 weeks for CME.
• Team : Works within a care team model, partnering with physicians to manage patient care.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess knowledge of clinical care and patient treatment as normally obtained through the completion of master’s degree in nursing.

Must be approved to practice as a Family NP (FNP) by the State Board of Nursing by proof of license / certification.

Requires current RN license in state of practice. Must be certified to practice by the State Board of Nursing within a particular population as a nurse practitioner. Requires personal DEA license or must have prescribing and dispensing authority granted by the state board of nursing. Additional technical and professional certifications may be required based on type of nurse practitioner and scope of delineation document under medical staff services for an individual facility.

Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

DNP or PhD preferred. Current BLS certification preferred. A minimum of 3 years previous relevant experience preferred.
