Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team and provide hands-on technical support across computer systems, networks, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, customer service expertise, and experience with Office 365 administration. This role is critical in ensuring seamless operations, network security, and timely resolution of IT-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-user technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and devices.
- Perform system updates, security checks, and preventive maintenance to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Document support activities using a ticketing system and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.
- Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and system improvements as directed.
Qualifications & Experience
Associate's degree in IT or related field, relevant technical certifications, or 1-5 years of equivalent IT support experience in a corporate or education environment.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, 8.1, 10); Windows Server experience is a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Office 365 administration experience strongly preferred.Familiarity with basic networking concepts, troubleshooting, and ticketing systems.Microsoft certifications (MCSA, Azure, etc.) are a plus.Skills & Competencies
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to assist users of varying technical levels.Strong logical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-resolution abilities with minimal supervision.Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and documentation skills.Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and supporting occasional after-hours IT needs.
