What you’ll be doing :
Working to coordinate implementation of Experience Corps program in 5-6 Mesa Public School elementary schools.
You will be responsible for :
Coordinating recruitment of retired residents to volunteer for Experience Corps program.Placing advertising on social media platforms, partnering organizations.Scheduling informational meetings.Coordinating training meetings for volunteers.Communicating with cleared volunteers.Other assigned duties as needed.What skills & experience you will bring to us :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Extensive (5+ years) experience in an education related field, including teaching, mentoring, or advising students.Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or related field may substitute for two years of required experience.Must have skill in operating a computer and applicable software.Basic social media skills, posting ads, events, and updating websites is also preferred.Public speaking, presentation skills, Bilingual (English / Spanish) speaking skills is desirable.Must possess a valid Class D Arizona Driver’s License.Want to apply?
