2Bles is an 18-bed Hematology / Oncology / Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit.Clinical nurses on 2 Bles provide expert care for acutely ill hematology andoncology patients, with a focus on blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma andmyeloma. Medstar Georgetown University Hospital is FACT accredited forautologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants and cellular therapies such asCAR T and TIL therapy. Patients receiving these treatments are cared for on 2Bles by nurses with specialized training in oncology and hematology.

The nurses on 2 Bles are committedto cura personalis, care for the whole person, and actively involvefamilies in the care of their patients throughout all stages of treatment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
