Transportation Security Officer

Transportation Security Officers are responsible for providing security and protection of travelers across all transportation sectors in a courteous and professional manner. Their duties may also extend to securing high-profile events, important figures, and / or anything that includes or impacts our transportation systems.

This position is available in Reynoldsville, PA with many vacancies. It is not a remote job. Occasional travel may be required for New Hire training and other duties. The salary range for this position is $17.64 - $25.20 per hour.

The position is permanent, part-time, and falls under the Excepted Service. Promotion potential exists, and the job family is Compliance Inspection And Support. A drug test is required, but a security clearance is not.

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens or Nationals, at least 18 years old, pass a drug screening, medical evaluation, and background investigation, and be available to work various shifts and overtime. Mandatory travel for training and occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency in the English language. National Service Experience is also considered.
