Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our behavioral health team in Harlan, Kentucky. This role offers a meaningful chance to provide compassionate psychiatric care in a close-knit community, supported by a large, integrated health system dedicated to improving mental health services in Central Appalachia.

You will deliver outpatient psychiatric care, diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of mental health disorders while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment including medication management and therapy
• Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers in outpatient clinics
• Engage patients' families and community resources in treatment planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory standards
• Work a structured schedule
