Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit.

This position involves caring for critically ill patients with a variety of diagnoses.

The average daily census is currently around 16-17 patients.

Healthcare providers will be expected to handle a diverse patient population.

You will work with a team that includes a dedicated Charge Nurse available 24 / 7.

Patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 for ICU patients.

The role may involve responding to rapid responses and codes.

You will have access to state-of-the-art monitoring systems and medication administration equipment.

The nursing team is supported by an in-house respiratory therapy team available around the clock.

Common procedures in the unit involve caring for patients post-cath lab and managing complex ventilator settings.

Weekend scheduling requires every other weekend commitment, with holiday rotation as needed.

Uniforms consists of navy blue scrubs with certain specifications regarding jackets and undershirts.

Orientation consists of general hospital orientation, followed by unit-specific training with a preceptor.

The goal is to maintain a high standard of care for all patients in the unit.

The work environment encourages collaboration and professional growth among staff.
