Level 2 Desktop Technician

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in Melville, NY and provide end-user support. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 11 and Mac devices, as well as the ability to deliver excellent client-facing service.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide day-to-day support for end users, ensuring timely resolution of hardware and software issues
• Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain Windows 11 and Mac OS devices
• Support Microsoft Office applications and OneDrive, including setup, troubleshooting, and user assistance
• Manage ticketing and support requests, following established processes and escalation procedures
• Collaborate with end users directly in a client-facing capacity, ensuring professional communication and problem-solving
• Assist with onboarding and device setup for new hires
• Work under pressure to resolve technical issues while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
• (Preferred) Utilize tools such as ServiceNow, JAMF, and SCCM to manage systems and tickets
• (Preferred) Provide team guidance or act in a lead capacity when needed

Skills and Qualifications :

Wage Range :

The rate for this position is between $21.00 - $35.20 per hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography / market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
