Description :

Focus on renal and neurology diseases.

Registered nurses need to be open to floating.

Candidates should have experience in a busy, large trauma setting.

This unit primarily cares for renal telemetry patients but also manages a variety of med-surg patients, including end-stage renal disease, pre and post-surgery, GI complications, cardiac, and hepatology cases.

A significant number of blood transfusions, blood specimen collections, dressing changes, central line management, and Foley catheter care are performed.

The patient population predominantly consists of elderly individuals aged 65 and older.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 : 5 or 1 : 6, with a patient care assistant ratio of 1 : 15.

The unit has a capacity of 30 beds.

Cancellations are allowed for multiple shifts during the assignment duration.

Charting is done using an electronic medical records system.
