Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CT Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : CT Tech Facility : Karmanos Cancer Institute Shift : Days, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM or 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM — 40-hour guarantee Start Date : 13 / 10 / 2025 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Certification and Licensure Requirements : Valid State License as a Radiologic Technologist Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) by a recognized certifying body (e.g., ARRT in CT) What you bring : Proven experience performing computerized axial tomography (CT) procedures on adult patients in a hospital or imaging center setting. Competence in venipuncture and contrast administration, with validation required within the first month of hire. Strong understanding of departmental protocols and safety standards. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and interacting with patients effectively. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a high-functioning team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient care. Preferred Education & Experience : Minimum of an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in a diagnostic imaging environment, specifically with CT procedures. Prior experience working in a cancer treatment or research facility is a plus. Key Responsibilities : Perform high-quality CT scans on adult patients in accordance with established professional and departmental standards. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Administer contrast agents and validate venipuncture techniques within the first month of employment. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed. Follow infection control and safety protocols rigorously. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver precise diagnostic images promptly.
