Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Associate with 4 to 7 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions to join the M&A Group of an elite Am Law 100 firm. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated public and private company transactions, takeover defense matters, and shareholder activism across diverse industries, alongside a dynamic and highly skilled team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in M&A transactions for both public and private companies
• Provide counsel on corporate law, market terms, and takeover defense strategies, including shareholder activism
• Manage complex transactions effectively and autonomously
• Develop and maintain client relationships with a business development mindset

Key Qualifications :

Compensation :

The salary range for this position is $310,000 to $420,000 annually, with actual compensation determined based on experience and other relevant factors.
