Job Title :   Locksmith Technician

Reports To : Operations Manager

Key Areas of Responsibility :

The Lead Locksmith Technician position is an integral part of Flylock Security Solutions of SW Florida and is key to the growth of the company. All Locksmiths must have the ability to work well in a high-paced working environment. The individual must work well as part of the team and independently from the Operations Manager.  The Locksmith position is a hands-on technical position geared toward an individual who has a technical mindset. Ideal candidates will have locksmithing knowledge and demonstrate the ability to learn new technical methods and techniques.

The responsibilities of a FlyLock Security Solutions Locksmith consist of the following :

• Ability to perform emergency work orders, for commercial clients only.
• Ability to install, repair, and maintain Commercial hardware.
• Safe and Card Access experience is a Huge Plus
• Ability to install, repair, and maintain Access Control Hardware
• Ability to modify hardware for locks.
• Ability to create and maintain master key systems.
• Ability to Lock re-keying / Perform Pining of locks.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to troubleshoot with a variety of variables in situations.
• Ability to clean, maintain, adjust, calibrate & service equipment used.
• Ability to read operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers & commercial clients.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to cut keys by code.
