They are seeking an Assistant Plant Manager with experience in woodworking or cabinet manufacturing to provide technical expertise, leadership, and operational oversight across production, maintenance, and support departments.

Lead and manage production employees to meet daily schedules and labor goals.Drive continuous improvement projects targeting efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.Establish, document, and maintain standard operating procedures that support safety, cost control, and productivity.Conduct routine audits to ensure adherence to company standards and best practices.Collaborate closely with production supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues and implement process enhancements.Provide hands-on leadership and technical training to production teams.Troubleshoot machinery or production challenges and coordinate maintenance support.Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety goals are consistently met.Qualifications & Competencies
Industry Knowledge : Experience in the cabinet or furniture industry , including wood species, assembly methods, paint and stain processes, and related equipment.Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.Demonstrated success in process improvement and performance management.Hands-on mentality with the willingness to assist where needed and mentor others.Results-driven approach with a focus on productivity, quality, and safety.Authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.Core Competencies
