Customer Services Representative at Professional Health Care Services

We're looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to be the first point of contact for patients in need of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and supplies. This role is the heartbeat of our operations — balancing compassion, accuracy, and efficiency to ensure patients receive the equipment they need when they need it.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy, identifying customer needs and providing effective solutions.
- Process DME and supply orders received by phone, fax, mail, or in person.
- Accurately enter new and updated patient information into the database, including demographics, insurance, and physician details.
- Verify insurance coverage and patient diagnosis to qualify orders.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and communicate with patients, caregivers, and internal teams.
- Assist with inventory checks and equipment ordering as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support after-hours patient needs.
Requirements
