Senior Associate – California Commercial / Business / Civil Litigation

Are you an experienced litigator ready to join a dynamic team handling exciting cases, working on complex legal issues, and representing intriguing clients? We are seeking a senior litigator with a minimum of ten years of business litigation experience in California. The role will focus heavily on law and motion practice.

Our client is a boutique civil litigation firm and are experiencing a surge of new clients as well as expanded engagements from existing clients. To accommodate this growth, we are looking to add an accomplished senior litigation associate to our team.

Our practice covers a broad spectrum of civil litigation, including but not limited to : policyholder-side insurance coverage (not insurance defense), business disputes, corporate ownership issues, employment law, shareholder actions, intellectual property, and appellate matters.

This position requires managing and litigating civil cases across a variety of legal areas. You will need to conduct thorough research and familiarize yourself with areas of law that may be new to you.

While bringing a book of business is not required, our client offers a fee-splitting incentive for attorneys who generate their own clients.

Qualifications :

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar.
• Minimum of ten years of litigation experience in California (candidates with five or more years in business litigation are preferred).
• Must reside within 25 miles of the Irvine area.
