Assembler

Pay Rate : $20 - $21 / an hour DOE

Schedule : 6 : 30 am - 3 : 00 pm M-F, overtime as needed

Position is a hands-on, physically active position that involves assembling custom picture frames using a variety of materials, tools, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities :

• Read framing orders to accurately match artwork with corresponding matting and framing molding
• Log each step of the final assembly process, including date completed
• Safely operate a compressed-air nail gun
• Safely operate glass, Plexiglas, and paper cutters
• Safely operate a heated press mount machine
• Use hand tools such as drills, pliers, wire cutters, and hammers to complete assemblies
• Assemble artwork, mats, and glass correctly and efficiently to order specifications
• Log and store completed jobs for customer pick-up or shipping
• Prepare and package framed art for shipping, ensuring items are secure and protected
