Job Description :

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our growing facility in Camden, Arkansas.

The Manufacturing Technician will join an exceptional cross-functional team of engineers and technicians to fabricate components and assemble them into the most advanced solid rocket systems in the world. Aerojet-Rocketdyne is an industry leading supplier of missile components to the government for use in national defense. This is an entry-level position for mixing and processing of energetics for casting.

The position will involve functions such as cleaning and assembling equipment, cleaning tools, parts, and work area and operate machinery. They will record and maintain records for manufactured products. Must work safely while producing a high quality product and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

Works under close supervision and receives detailed instructions, the Manufacturing Technician 1 performs routine and repetitive duties within the manufacturing operations area. Apply general manufacturing knowledge to basic problems to come up with logical answers.

Essential Functions :

• 50% - Full scale propellant mixing - Prepares materials and performs full-scale mixing for all production programs, confirming acceptable weights prior to releasing the materials to casting operations. The technician will also perform full-scale mixes for new programs / new formulations as they are introduced to the site. The technician is responsible for requisitioning and organizing the materials and processing required for the mix, as well as cleaning and maintaining full scale mix equipment. Technician will perform these duties under the general direction of engineer and the area supervisor, using established, well-defined methods and calculations.
