Second Shift Plant Supervisor
The Second Shift Plant Supervisor provides leadership and coordination for all production operations on second shift across every department. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing while maintaining strong communication and alignment with department managers and other shift supervisors. The Supervisor plays a key role in fostering a positive, team-oriented environment, developing employees, and promoting accountability and continuous improvement throughout the plant.
Lead and Develop the Team
- Provide direct supervision and leadership for all production areas during second shift.
- Foster a culture of leadership, respect, and accountability among second shift employees.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to strengthen skills and promote professional growth.
- Recognize strong performance and provide timely, constructive feedback when needed.
- Support employee engagement and encourage open communication and collaboration across teams.
Manage Production Operations
Supervise and coordinate daily activities in Assembly, Multislide, Press, and related departments.Plan, organize, and prioritize workflow to meet production schedules, safety, and quality standards.Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Die Maintenance, and Logistics to resolve issues quickly and minimize downtime.Ensure proper documentation of production data, attendance, and performance metrics.Cross-Shift & Department Collaboration
Serve as the primary point of leadership for all second-shift operations, maintaining clear communication with first and third shift supervisors for seamless transitions.Work closely with all department managers to ensure consistent processes, expectations, and goals across shifts.Support company projects and initiatives that impact the overall plant and customer satisfaction.Respond to customer needs or production adjustments that occur during second shift in coordination with management.Skills & Abilities

This is a full-time, second shift position overseeing all production departments. Typical hours are 3 : 00 PM 11 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility as needed for training, coverage, or production demands.
