Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician at Lancesoft INC summary :

The Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician is responsible for assessing and treating behavioral health conditions through evidenced-based approaches such as CBT and motivational interviewing. The role involves coordinating care with other healthcare providers and making treatment recommendations based on thorough evaluations. A Doctoral Degree in clinical or counseling psychology is required, along with current NYS registration as a Psychologist.

Job Requirements :

Doctoral Degree in clinical or counseling psychology (Ph.D. / PsyD)
Current NYS registration as a Psychologist environment
Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus but not a requirement
Must be able to work 25+ hours a week

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include :

Assessment of patients referred by Primary Care Provider (PCP) using evidenced based assessment tools.

Treatment of behavioral health conditions using evidenced based approaches (CBT, Motivational Interviewing, crisis intervention, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and behavioral activation).

Make treatment recommendations.

Refers the patient to Psychiatrist as deemed appropriate

Monitor client treatment through review of clinical documentation as well as coordination of care with other health providers and health homes.
