Position Summary
The Corporate Warehouse & Logistics Lead drives the centralization and standardization of warehouse and logistics functions across four divisions of our aerospace organization. This hands-on leader will design optimal layouts, institute best-practice materialflow processes, and coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory storage, and work-in-process (WIP) movement. Success in this role means every facility is clean, well-marked, FIFOcompliant, and operating under a unified set of metricswhile day-to-day tasks still get done safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities
Area
What Youll Do
Strategy & Layout Optimization
Map currentstate material flows for each division and develop a consolidated warehouse blueprint (slotting, racking, 5S, and visual controls).
Set and track KPIs for space utilization, pick / put-away time, and dock-to-stock cycle time.
Shipping & Receiving
Oversee inbound inspection, putaway, and outbound packaging / documentation for domestic and international shipments (ITAR / DDTC awareness).
Coordinate carrier performance and negotiate smallparcel & LTL rates in line with corporate contracts.
Inventory & WIP Control
Implement FIFO and lot / serial traceability, ensuring accurate location labeling and barcode scanning.
Align physical storage with ERP / WMS data; lead quarterly cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
People & Workload Management
Schedule and balance labor across four sites to meet daily shipping / receiving demands and project needs.
Train, coach, and certify personnel on forklift and materialhandling equipment.
Continuous Improvement
Led kaizen events focused on warehouse flow, safety, and cost reduction.
Partner with Production, Purchasing, and Quality to eliminate bottlenecks and prevent part shortages.
Compliance & Safety
Enforce OSHA, DOT, ITAR, and company EHS policies. Maintain spotless, audit-ready facilities with marked aisles, zones, and hazard signage.
