A high‐volume emergency department is seeking a board‐certified emergency medicine physician with leadership experience to serve as Site Medical Director. This locum tenens role blends clinical and administrative responsibilities and supports two free‐standing emergency departments.

Support Staff :

Advanced practice provider support

Strong hospitalist and pediatric programs

Clinical Responsibilities :

Emergency department coverage

Support APPs and foster collaboration

Administrative Responsibilities :

Oversee clinical performance and compliance

Mentor and manage EM staff

Collaborate with hospital leadership

Drive quality improvement initiatives

Manage scheduling and staffing

Experience Requirements :

Prior SMD or ASMD experience required

Familiarity with HCA KPIs preferred

Change management experience required
