Job descriptionPrevious warehouse experience is desired. Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail, work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a high degree of accuracy are necessary. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
Warehouse Associate
Primary Responsibilities :
- Unload and sort merchandise off of delivery trucks
- Count merchandise received and record data utilizing company system
- Receive incoming purchase orders into the system and verify accuracy
- Examine merchandise received and communicate incorrect or defective merchandise to Warehouse management
- Print labels and mark merchandise utilizing labeling equipment
- Review all purchase orders weekly to identify over / under receiving of merchandise
- Assists in physical inventory and cycle counts
- Follows safety rules and maintains a clean work environment by keeping workstation, warehouse and receiving area neat and organized
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Work overtime and Saturdays when required
