This job is a member of the Alliances & Partnerships Team and be responsible for a portfolio of work around partnership strategy, partnership analytics, deal evaluation and negotiation support. Over time this position will contribute to a comprehensive view of partnership strategy and a framework for partnership evaluation. This job is also accountable for the day-to-day management of our portfolio of alliance relationships and the internal relationships needed to support these partnerships.

Coordinates strategy internally and is a single point of contact for external partners within a particular group
Acts as an expert on a particular geographic region and partners within that region
Tracks and reports on partnership performance
Analyzes and models partnership or competitive changes, taking into account how changes impact AA commercially and operationally
Manages day-to-day of partnership including invoices, budgets, forecasts and resolve issues identified by AA or the partner airline
Reviews, manages and assists in the creation and execution of contracts
Assembles and analyzes key input & performance data in support of any ongoing partner negotiations to maximize the partnership contribution to AA's performance
Challenges the Status quo of our existing partnerships and crafts creative solutions to maximize partnership value and drives continuous improvement
Interfaces with other groups such as Network Planning, AAdvantage, Sales, RM, Accounting, as well as Senior Management and external airline partners
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills, including ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues and develop creative ideas or solutions MBA degree Strong commercial knowledge/background, with, at minimum, basic understanding of Revenue Management, Network Planning, Sales and AAdvantage Data analytics experience using SQL and tools like SAS, R, Python, Tableau or similar tools Strong quantitative, writing and presentation development abilities Ability to build collaborative relationships with and consensus amongst multiple stakeholders with varying points of view Demonstrated ability to solve and to lead others in solving complex analytical problems Strong managerial, analytical, creative and critical thinking skills
