Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in residential and commercial property maintenance.
This role involves performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the proper operation and upkeep of facilities. The technician must be able to work independently and as part of a team while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on residential and commercial properties.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, hot water heaters, and appliances.
- Conduct carpentry work, drywall repairs, and interior / exterior painting.
- Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain an organized work schedule to maximize efficiency.
- Enter and update work orders, communicating with property owners and managers.
- Manage van stock, tools, and material usage; order supplies with manager approval.
- Ensure daily progress reports are accurate and complete.
- Close out work orders with verified accuracy for invoicing.
- Answer incoming service calls and relay information to the crew.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in property maintenance (residential and commercial).Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, drywall, and basic construction.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Ability to use computer software for work order management.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.Strong communication and customer service abilities.Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.Benefits
