We're seeking a talented, full-time

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

to join our school-based services team in Oklahoma City, OK.

Professional License Requirements :

Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.

Have active state-level licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Experience working in children in a school setting required

What to expect from this role :

Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, provide sensory integration, motor patterns and awareness of the external environment

Develop / improve individual's ability to independently perform tasks

Serve as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy concerns

Facilitate goals and objectives per child's educational plan

Maintain appropriate records

Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist

Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents

Perform other COTA duties / responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and / or certification

Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
