Operations Manager, Transportation

Description

Preferred Skills and Experience : Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience; experience managing CDL drivers is desired; waste industry experience is a plus bilingual in Spanish is a plus CDL license is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook.

I. Job Summary

This role is responsible for Onboarding Developing Coaching Mentoring and Performance Management of CDL Drivers and Driver Helpers. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with all front-line employees. Spends the majority of the day in the field with frontline employees.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Onboarding :

Ensures new frontline employees have tools instruction and feedback for successful daily duties.

Provides timely and consistent touchpoints with frontline employees.

Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities.

Leads by example to ensure safety practices are paramount with each employee.

Conducts Root Cause Investigations for all injuries and incidents ensuring consistent discipline and retraining.

The expected base pay range for this office / on-site position is $75000 - $85000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates relevant experience education training certifications qualifications and work addition this position is eligible for incentive pay.
