Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Float Position

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The shifts are 8 hours, scheduled any time between 0630-1700. This position requires evening call once per week, with rotating weekends approximately every 6 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer for a float position to support the entire North Central PA region. This role is vital in providing high-quality echocardiographic services in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic echocardiograms on patients of all age groups, including pediatric patients.
  • Provide emergency coverage for pediatric patients during on-call hours.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient echocardiograms and histories.
  • Stay current with advances in echocardiographic technology and best practices.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Must possess valid credentials as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in pediatric cardiac sonography.
