• Previous charge experience
• Patient ratio experience of 5
• Charting system experience with Epic
• Community hospital experience

Description :

This position involves working in a Med / Surg / Telemetry setting during day shifts.

Nurses will care for adult and geriatric patients.

The unit typically has a maximum daily census of 35 patients.

Nurses may be required to float to other units as needed.

Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.

Night and weekend coverage is part of the role.

Nurses will be expected to manage a patient ratio of 5.

Must be comfortable providing care in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Additional skills required include blood product administration, central line care, and management of dysrhythmias.

All travelers must meet compliance document deadlines and must have references available.

One major holiday off is allowed, but working other major holidays is expected.
